For schools
The Grand Prize Challenge
When 100 students, or 80 percent of the students in one grade level, at a school finish Book 1 in the same school year, the school earns a visit from author Kelly Luu and a pizza party.
A note from Kelly
When I was a child, the BOOK IT! program at Pizza Hut made me want to read more. I kept track of the books I finished, took my list to Pizza Hut, and they gave me my very own mini pizza. I felt so proud. That little reward helped me become a reader. I started the Code Cracker Club to pass that feeling on to a new group of readers.
