Kluu In: Word Problems, Volume 3
Multi-Step Word Problems, Grades 5 to 6
Word problems get bigger in the upper grades. Volume 3 takes the KLUU Method into fraction, decimal, ratio, rate and percent stories, along with volume, area, equations, averages and multi-step problems.
Each lesson starts with Here's Your Kluu and walks through an easy and a harder example one step at a time, with Watch Out and Miss Luu's Tip boxes along the way. Short Try It problems follow every lesson.
Five practice tests show what your child has mastered, and the answers at the back explain every step. Written by Kelly Luu, drawing on 25 years in education.
